A while ago a customer asked if he could be notified when his Rosetta Telecom extension went offline. Well now you can!
As with all internet based services, we rely on a good connection to make everything work and, if your internet connection fails, then we can’t send inbound calls to your extension and you can’t send them outbound. This could be because your local network is having problems, maybe your router needs restarting or your internet has dropped out. It could even be as simple as a powercut.
Well now you can sign up to receive email notifications when our servers cannot connect to your extension. It’s simple to setup. Just sign in to your extension on Rosetta Telecom and enter an email address in the “Notify email address” box. Now, if your extension goes offline, we’ll send you an email letting you know.
Although we’ll only send you an email once when you go offline, if your extension goes offline and online frequently then you may receive a lot of emails. As a result, we don’t recommend using this feature for mobile app based extensions as their connection can go off at anytime.
If you need any help or want to find out more then please get in touch and we’d like to thanks Steve on the Isle of Wight for suggesting this feature.
